!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and I were just discussing the market of SuperHatches and why they don't exist, and now I'm curious if you would buy a SuperHatch over a plain old supercar? Poll Below...
What is a SuperHatch? The EVO video above shows a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that is really the only example that exists (that I know of), but basically its a supercar trapped in a hatchback's body. And it REALLY has to perform; things like the Golf GTI or Fiesta ST don't count.
So would you sacrifice the glamour and track speed for something that looks like a riced-up hatchback and will get you round a mountain faster than you can say "yo-de-le-eee-oooo!"?

I'm all for the sleeper appeal of a super hatch.

Superhatch = real actual race/rally car that's street legal.

Well it would be super practical but I would like to see a super truck. Until then super hatch.

Does the Raptor not count in your book?

That is definitely a way to look at it, but I think I'd rather have a plain old Hot Hatch that does what a Hot Hatch can do: everything. When you take that out of the equation, what you get is a super car in disguise. Great for a sleeper, but still a super car eh?

Not fast enough. Hellcat Ram will work.

If the cost and everyday driveability were there, why not?

it can do all that a hot hatch can do, but embarrass Ferraris at the same time. Which is the point of a sleeper.

Technically WRC cars are street legal, just not something that you would want to daily drive.

Eh, either way I vote rally car over race car.
Because rally car bro.

Well I guess that depends how much stripped out the hatch is. First thing I pictured was a car with a full roll cage blocking off the rear seats and trunk, a harsh ride and too noisy to be used in regular day to day driving.

That's really not so much a SuperHatch as it is a race car. Not a "race car for the road," but a straight up honest-to-god racecar. Which means it comes with the standard racecar features like a complete lack of cupholders, non-adjustable seats, no air conditioning and only a defroster for heat, no radio, no sound deadening, and a roll cage that will gleefully split your scull open if you're T-boned while not wearing a helmet. And you can get them from Ford, Citroen, and Peugeot, with a model currently in development from Skoda.

Oh no, just a hatch but with crazy power, AWD and requisite rally car looks, but with a nice interior.

would the GMC syclone have counted as a supertruck or sportstruck?
